As an athlete and leader, she has since gained confidence in herself and her ability to help others. “I always knew I had something to say and now I’m using my voice to spread inclusion.”

Alongside leaders from Yahoo! Finance and Rugby League World Cup 2021, Katie and Michelle will participate in a panel titled Focusing on Ability: Looking past the visible and invisible disabilities to focus on what matters. Michelle, who sits on the Dial Global steering committee on diversity and inclusion in the workplace, is excited to present at such a large and prestigious forum. “Katie will be amazing on this panel. Her energy is infectious. I believe this panel will not only be positive for Special Olympics Great Britain but for the movement as a whole.”
