My name is Cameron Garrett and I have been a part of Special Olympics for over 20 years. I have competed in more than 8 different sports, my favorites being bowling and softball. Over the past few years I have been on Special Olympics Illinois’s esports team and can proudly say I am a one of the founding members of the esports program. In addition, I am a Special Olympics Global Messenger. Through this role, I help spread the message and vision of the Special Olympics movement by sharing how Special Olympics has enhanced and enriched my life.
