July 31 2014, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a dinner around “A Celebration of Special Olympics and A Unified Generation” at the White House. The event celebrated the work that Special Olympics, with the support of the Obama administration and others, had been doing to activate young people to fight inactivity, intolerance and injustice in their schools and communities.
