Dear Brady,
I am sorry to learn that our great visionary has passed on. Though I never had the opportunity to meet her one on one, ever since I joined the Special Olympics family I have carried her in a special place in my heart.
I imagine that the host of heaven is presently rejoicing at the home coming of a great woman and our Lord Jesus is saying : "welcome home my dear daughter you have fought the good fight of faith, you have kept the faith thank you for showing the world another way to love!"
Our thoughts and prayers in Special Olympics Nigeria are with the Shriver family and I trust that the holy spirit will speak words of comfort to their hearts at this time of their grieve.
