Young Integrity Ambassadors Programme
Young Integrity Ambassadors Programme (YIAP) is funded by the Erasmus+ programme through the National EU agency in Sweden. The European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO) is the project lead.
YIAP aims to trigger a positive change within the sport sector and create a culture of integrity across Europe, by educating and empowering young people (volunteers/athletes) with and without intellectual disability to become sport integrity ambassadors.
The SO Europe Eurasia is a partner in this project with a particular view of ensuring that youth with ID are represented in the project. It kicked off on 1 May 1 2022 and will finish on 30 April 2024. The other partners are: Riksidrottsförbundet, European Lotteries, EUSA, Smaland, A Confederação do Desporto, Opes Italia, Union of Lithuanian Sports Federation, Lithuania Olympic Committee.
