Creating Inclusion Through Tennis

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics over 220 athletes, 100 coaches and 300 families participated in the first Special Olympics World Tennis Invitational. The five-day event, hosted in the Dominican Republic was the largest unified tennis event held globally. The invitational's official slogan "Stand Up for Inclusion" reflects the commitment of the citizenship to create an inclusive society, guaranteeing respect for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities.
