As a Founding Partner of Special Olympics International, Coca-Cola has supported and shaped the global Special Olympics movement from the very beginning. This long-standing commitment continues with its engagement in Switzerland 2029, reinforcing Coca-Cola’s role as a key global partner of the movement. As an Official Partner, The Coca-Cola Company joins the high-est sponsorship category, with extensive activation and communication rights, as well as industry exclusivity.

The Make Every Race Count campaign was created to help swimmers turn their failure into success.

[Chur, Switzerland – 24 March 2026] The road to the Special Olympics World Winter Games Switzerland 2029 has reached a key milestone this week with the official agreement signing in Chur, Switzerland. From 10 – 17 March 2029, Switzerland will host the 2029 Games, sending a strong message of equality and active inclusion.

Special Olympics athletes, Celine and Ionut, were among guest speakers at a recent special event in the European Parliament to honour the amazing career of Special Olympics Global Ambassador Nadia Comăneci – and the power of inclusive sport.
