John Marshall

John Marshall is a sports writer in Phoenix primarily covering college football and basketball. He has worked for The Associated Press since 2000, with stops in Dallas, Raleigh, N.C., Denver and Kansas City before arriving in the Valley of the Sun in 2010. Marshall has covered everything from Olympics and Super Bowls to NCAA Final Fours and the BCS championship. He lives in Chandler, Ariz., with his wife and three children, and is a volunteer coach for Special Olympics Arizona.
