My name is Amber Gertsch. I’m 43 years old .I was born and raised in Farr West, Utah but have lived in Montana for the past 1.5 years. For 38 years, I have participated in Special Olympics Utah. I have earned over 200 medals. For Special Olympics, I have also participated in the following:
- Served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Utah
- Trained nationally as a Health Messenger
- Was a Utah swim coach for the USA Games
- Served on various fundraising committees for Special Olympics Utah
- Was an athlete liaison for the Utah Law Enforcement Torch Run
- Represented Utah at the international Law Enforcement Torch Run conference held in Austin, TX
- Represented Utah at Capitol Hill Day in Washington, DC
- In 2022, I was one of the three Special Olympics athletes chosen to go to the Microsoft HQ in Seattle to train as a shoutcaster
