Finish Line Youth Foundation Nominated for ESPN Sports Humanitarian Award

Finish Line Youth Foundation employee presents a Special Olympics athlete with a new pair of shoes

Finish Line Youth Foundation and Special Olympics 2018 USA Games partner Brooks Running are finalists for ESPN’s 2019 Sports Humanitarian Awards for the Corporate Community Impact honor for their work in providing 1,431 Special Olympics athletes Brooks shoes during the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle.

The award honors a corporation that best furthers social issues, causes or community organizations. As finalists,Finish Line Youth Foundation and Brooks Running will obtain $25,000 to present to Special Olympics. If they win the honor, ESPN will award a $100,000 grant to the partners, which they will give to Special Olympics.

Finish Line Youth Foundation and Brooks Running are nominated along with Anthem Foundation, Burton Snowboards and Under Armour. The announcement of award winners will take place July 9.
