As an undergraduate student at North Carolina State University, Madeline was introduced to the Special Olympics movement. In 2016, she accepted an internship with Special Olympics North Carolina. For the past five years, she served as their director of communications. In the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, Madeline represented Special Olympics USA as additional support staff in marketing and communications.
Joining Special Olympics International, Madeline will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina, continuing her work in spotlighting the successes of Special Olympics athletes and fans everywhere.
