Special Olympics Venezuela is an active program that offers many activities, has outstanding athletes and continues to change lives through inclusion, acceptance and respect.

Venezuela is currently serving more than 7,890 athletes in 13 states across the country. Since our establishment, Special Olympics Venezuela has shown rapid growth while still maintaing a quality program. We now offer 21 sports that range from basketball to volleyball and have more than 1,200 volunteers that make it possible for our athletes to improve their quality of life through sports.
Special Olympics also has non-sporting initiatives, including: Healthy Athletes, Young Athletes, ALP's, Family Support Network, Get Into It ®.
We have witnessed countless success stories. We have seen how Special Olympics has changed the lives of athletes, who then train and compete regularly at our events, have noticed their health, self-esteem, responsibility, discipline, sociability and family life have improved.
