Margaret's journey with Special Olympics commenced in Kilkenny, where she immersed herself in the world of sports, showcasing her prowess in swimming, athletics, and bocce. She became an Athlete Leader in 2022. Margaret utilizes her Health Messenger experience to champion healthy lifestyles, particularly for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Her advocacy extends beyond words, as her strongest skill lies in the art of public speaking. She's a role model who inspires others. She works very hard to make the world healthier and include everyone, using the power of sports and speaking up for what's right.
