Jack McCallum
After a nearly 30-year career as a senior writer at Sports Illustrated, Jack McCallum is now a Special Contributor to the magazine. In 2005 he was presented with the Curt Gowdy Award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for excellence in journalism. He is the author of eight books and is working on a 20-year retrospective of the 1992 Dream Team that won the gold medal in Barcelona. McCallum, who holds a master's degree in English literature from Lehigh University, also teaches journalism at the college level. He is married with two sons.
