My name is Chloe Nuttbrock and I am currently a Junior at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo, Washington. I became involved in our school's Unified Program, first through the Unified PE class freshman year. I had so much fun in PE that I decided to join Kamiak’s Unified Basketball team. Since then I have participated in Unified Basketball and Unified Track. My passion for the Unified program and Special Olympics sparked from witnessing our annual Unified Basketball game against our rival school called “The Stinky Shoe”. Watching both teams cheer everyone on had such a positive impact on my life and inspired me to have the same impact on others. This past year, my partner Myron and I created and were co-presidents of the Virtual Unified Fitness Club at our school during the pandemic. In addition to the club, Myron and I were Chairmen on the Special Olympics Youth Activation Committee for Washington State! I am excited to start this new chapter in my life as a US Youth Ambassador and inspire others to choose to include!
