Opening ceremonies at Turin World Winter Games 2025
Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025 (EU Project)

The EU supported the Special Olympics World Winter Games which took place in Berlin between the 8th and 15th March 2025 in the beautiful city of Turin in Italy. As in previous grants supported by the EU the key elements of the Games are in line with the priorities of the sports priorities of the EU—Inclusive Sports Competition, Youth Leadership, Volunteering and Health which were a key part of these Games. There will be a number of legacy events from the Games that will be supported by the European Union and updates from these events will be shared here in the coming months.
