Michael Don Jordan was born on February 20, 1998, in Paramaribo, Suriname, and comes from a family of six. He attended BSO Maretraite, a special education school in Paramaribo, and has been working as a civil servant since 2020. Since 2018, he has been actively involved with the Frank Cameron Centrum (SOGK), supporting individuals with disabilities.
Michael really loves sports! He started out swimming in the Special Olympics, but he discovered he loves playing bocce even more. In November 2024, he won gold and silver medals at the Beach Games in Trinidad! This was his first-ever international competition.
Beyond sports, Michael enjoys swimming, gaming, dancing, and socializing in his free time. He is known for his kindness and positive spirit. He always lends a helping hand and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Michael is an inspiration to everyone he meets, showing us that with hard work and a positive attitude, anything is possible! He believes he is the best candidate for the position as youth leader because of these qualities and his passion for sports and Special Olympics.
