United Through Sports
United Through Sports (UTS), founded in 2017, is the international entity formed under the umbrella body, the Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport (AIMS). UTS was formed as a united step towards creating more inclusive and equal sporting events for Non-Olympic sports as well as Olympic, Paralympic and Special Olympics. Special Olympics and United Through Sports collaborate on several initiatives promoting inclusive sport to demonstrate the power of sport when everyone has equal opportunity to train, compete and show their talents.

[Umbria, Italy - Oct. 16, 2024 /PRNewswire/] At the first-ever G7 Ministers' Meeting on Inclusion and Disability, held in Umbria, Italy from October 14 – 16, 2024, Special Olympics CEO Mary Davis commended attending governments for pledging to take actionable steps to remove barriers for persons with disabilities, but called on leaders to commit to more ambitious financing and to institutionalize advancing disability rights in all subsequent G7 presidencies.

Oman Hosts Its First-Ever Regional Train-the-Trainer Event: A Groundbreaking Milestone in Healthcare Development
15 trainees from Oman, Kuwait, Egypt, and Bahrain were brought together for an intensive training program aimed at enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
