Since 1976, the United States has celebrated Black History Month every February to acknowledge and promote these triumphs and help to amplify and support African American voices and communities around the US.

As Berlin, Germany gears up to host the next Special Olympics World Games in 2023, Special Olympics is pleased to announce the selection of the SO Connect Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). SMEs support the Local Organizing Committee, SOI Technical Delegates, and volunteer SO Connect Operators in daily competition management operations. This includes providing technical support and process management, competition information management, and communication with delegations as it relates to results.
