Badminton Community Rallying Together Ahead of Special Olympics World Games Berlin

Special Olympics programs and badminton Member Associations are working hard in close collaboration preparing athletes to shine on the world stage at the Special Olympics World Games badminton competition in Berlin this June.

Topgolf

Special Olympics and Topgolf are partnered to develop the sport of Golf in Special Olympics globally. As part of this partnership Topgolf will provide access to their 100+ Topgolf facilities to Special Olympics athletes, unified partners and coaches for training and competition. Special Olympics has worked with Topgolf to introduce a set of rules that position the game of Topgolf as an event within the Special Olympics Golf enabling Special Olympics programs to offer Topgolf to their athletes as an additional official competition opportunity. Special Olympics and Topgolf are committed to work together to increase participation in the sport of Golf while demonstrating the transformative power of inclusive sport for all.

EuroHockey

EuroHockey is the governing body of hockey in Europe. It has 42 member national associations and is one of five Continental Federations affiliated to the International Hockey Federation (FIH). EuroHockey (previously the European Hockey Federation) was founded in Cardiff, Wales in 1969

Sibling Engagement

Siblings are connectors of three groups central to our movement: athletes, families and youth. Through Special Olympics, siblings can find a supportive community, a platform to share their experiences, and an opportunity to develop as leaders. This section will provide resources for youth-age siblings of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
