How do you define your abilities?
I’ve played sports since I was six. One of my favorite memories would probably be coming in 2nd place for University of Louisiana-Lafayette at the 2019 NIRSA National Basketball Championships in the Unified basketball division or coming in 3rd in softball for Special Olympics Louisiana at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle, WA.
What should coaches know about working with individuals with autism?
It just takes time to get to know us.
What stereotypes or misunderstandings about autism most frustrate you?
People think that we’re all slow.
What do you most want people to understand about autism?
No one is the same.
