Shane is dedicated, determined, and has his priorities all set out. When he and his fellow athletes needed to raise money to get to the GB National Games in Sheffield last year, he was willing to sacrifice his distinctive 'big' hairdo to raise funds. Shane's decision to 'brave the shave' for Special Olympics Norfolk helped send 29 athletes (including him and his sister) to the National Games in August 2017. Abu Dhabi will be his first World Games and he is determined to do his very best. And, yes, he has grown all his ‘big’ hairdo back in time.
