Bettina Lehmann, aged 24 years old, has just received the news that she will represent Special Olympics Germany at the upcoming Global Youth Leadership Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan!
Bettina, a Special Olympics Germany Youth Leader from Riedhausen, and Special Olympics Germany athlete Dennis Kutzner will be the Inclusive Youth Leader pair from Special Olympics Germany at the Global Youth Leadership Forum. Bettina has been involved with Special Olympics Germany for 10 years now. Between 2015 and 2017, she also worked at Special Olympics Europe Eurasia as Youth Coordinator. She says, “It gave me a bigger picture of what Special Olympics Youth leadership is about.”
Bettina and Dennis will be among at least 190 participants at the Global Youth Leadership Forum who will collaborate, learn and share ideas with the aim of building a more inclusive future as a global Unified Generation. Bettina says, “I’m very excited to meet old friends, get new ones and bring new ideas back home from Baku!”
