In Poland, the whole country is getting involved in Special Olympics 50th celebrations – including the postal service, Polish Post or Poczta Polska!
This summer, Poczta Polska and Special Olympics Poland are celebrating 50 years of Special Olympics with 4,700 Special Olympics posters being displayed in post offices across the country. Beautiful commemorative postcards and stamps were also recently issued, meaning that the Special Olympics message is landing in letterboxes across Poland and beyond this summer!
Joanna Styczeń Lasocka, National Director of Special Olympics Poland, said of the initiative, “It’s a great opportunity to spread awareness of our #GrajmyRazem – Let’s Play Together – campaign. Our mission is reaching all cities, villages, everywhere! Thanks to Poczta Polska we are promoting acceptance and respect for people with intellectual disabilities.”
