Swiss-Ski President Signs Deal With Special Olympics Switzerland

Urs Lehmann, Swiss-Ski president, signed a convention with Special Olympics Switzerland which shall promote inclusive sports and training offerings within the Swiss-Ski association.

Urs Lehmann travelled to St. Moritz, where Team Switzerland was preparing for the World Winter Games, to sign the agreement. He is very happy about the cooperation and states: "For Swiss-Ski it goes without saying that people with intellectual disabilities shall have easy access to sports and trainings. We are looking forward to working with Special Olympics Switzerland and I am sure that these special athletes will be a great enrichment for our association".

After the official act of signing the contract, Urs Lehmann spent the rest of the day training with the athletes and giving them helpful tips for their competitions at the Games.
