Special Olympics’ sport federation partner, Badminton World Federation (BWF), created and now celebrates World Badminton Day.

In another demonstration of the ever-strengthening partnership between Special Olympics and the Badminton World Federation, a global technical training and regional competition was recently held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) held a badminton clinic in West Africa in which Special Olympics Senegal and Gambia athletes and coaches were invited and able to take part in. This is an excerpt from the BWF’s article:
