More than 65 athletes from Special Olympics Cyprus and over 20 partners / volunteers participated in the Unified Football Project.

Inter Milan Captain joins with an athlete from Special Olympics Italy to launch 2011 Special Olympics European Football Week (May 14th – 22nd)—a week were everyone in the European football community is asked to create more opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities in football and through their fan base promote respect, acceptance and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.

European Football Week 2012 begins on May 12th and continues on until May 20th. The entire European football community come together to create more opportunities in football for players with intellectual disabilities and it is supported by UEFA.

Young Estonia athletes enjoyed skills building and training with coaches from the Estonian Football Association (Eesti Jalgpalli Liit) during a European Football Week #EFW2018 event on 23 May!

Enjoy highlights from the 14th Special Olympics European Football Conference took place in Prague, Czech Republic from 14 to 15 December 2018.

Supported by UEFA Respect, MetLife, national football federations and professional clubs, European Football Week (EFW) is a highlight in the Special Olympics calendar. From 19 to 27 May 2018, 45,000 participants across 50 countries took part in 450 events.
