Sherif Nada is an athlete from Special Olympics Egypt in the Middle East North Africa Region. Sherif participates in roller skating and equestrian. He has been involved in Special Olympics since 2015.
Sherif’s favorite parts about Special Olympics are the athlete leaders programing and being an active member of the Regional Athlete Leader Input Council.
Sherif is excited for the congress in Berlin. He is looking forward to exchanging experiences with friends from different programs in the world and learning how they integrate into society in various ways. Sherif hopes that this will benefit all athlete leaders.
Sherif graduated from Workers’ University-Hosts Department Study English language training courses. When he isn’t competing, Sherif enjoys football match analysis, reading, and searching online.
Sherif says that being an athlete leader means becoming an assistant organizer in many of the Special Olympics Egypt events and competitions both locally and nationally.
Project Description
Sherif’s grant plan is to develop computer skills for 15 athlete leaders and 8 siblings. He plans to do this in cooperation with the Misr Public Library. Training programs and workshops will be held to keep up with the rapid digital transformation and technology. The trained athlete leaders will then go on to train other athletes utilizing Train the Trainer.
