Unified 3x3 Basketball World Cup
The inaugural Special Olympics Unified 3x3 Basketball World Cup will feature basketball players with and without intellectual disabilities playing on the same team.

Special Olympics Angola (women's) and Special Olympics Dominican Republic (men's) are crowned the champions of the first-ever Unified 3x3 Basketball World Cup.

Hearts are still pounding and the audience is still at the edge of their seats as the final games for the Division 1 teams, male and female, went on at the T-Mobile District Arena in San Juan Puerto Rico.

After three days of competition and 94 matches later, teams Special Olympics Angola (women’s) and Special Olympics Dominican Republic (men’s) took the victory in the first-ever 2025 Unified 3x3 Basketball World Cup Champions.

On the women’s side, Special Olympics Angola beat Special Olympics Uruguay 9-4 to clinch first place and for the men, Special Olympics Dominican Republic took the win over Special Olympics Puerto Rico with a final score of 14-10.
