Wisconsin

The mission of Special Olympics Wisconsin is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

The Power of Sport. For every Special Olympics athlete, there are many more waiting for their chance. Help us reach one more person who wants to participate.Donate Today.

Special Olympics Wisconsin is a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We serve nearly 10,000 athletes through seven regional offices. We are one of 52 U.S. programs, and part of a global movement that serves three million athletes in more than 170 counties.

Thanks to a statewide volunteer network of more than 14,000 and the support of generous sponsors and donors throughout Wisconsin, no athlete is turned away due to lack of funds. With nearly 80 annual sporting events, including five state-level competitions, we invite everyone to join us in our mission to give athletes with intellectual disabilities continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Coach. Compete. Donate. Volunteer. Sponsor. Be a Fan. Don’t miss out on the experience. Visit Special Olympics Wisconsin and get involved.
