Connecting People. Uniting the World.
United’s shared purpose is to help unite the world by connecting people to moments that matter most. The new global partnership is extremely synergistic as Special Olympics strives to work with partners to create more welcoming communities for people of all abilities. In doing so, Special Olympics and its partners like United provide access and opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to contribute their talents to their community. In collaboration with Special Olympics, United strives to reach the next level as a customer-centric airline. As part of the new relationship, United has committed to work closely with Special Olympics to train more than 60,000 front line employees to take steps to lead in inclusion.
