As Vice President, Health Services and Education, Dr. Williams leads Special Olympics International’s Health strategic pillars of assessment and training to improve global health outcomes in people with intellectual disabilities (ID) in over 115 countries and seven regions. She oversees the development and delivery of new, advanced virtual and in-person clinical assessment and training initiatives which address health disparities in people with ID. Her work will also ensure that healthcare professionals and students are adequately prepared to deliver exceptional care to people with ID, so that inclusive health is a reality for all.
