Happy Father’s Day!

This Father’s Day, Special Olympics would like to thank all the dads who participate in this incredible movement! Your support and cheers mean so much to the athletes who compete and your impact is felt by all.

Just like David Ng'ang'a father in Kenya. David is an athlete with Special Olympics Kenya who has competed at an international level, winning medals across multiple competitions. And no one is a bigger supporter than Steven Gatimbia, his dad. Steven is the first to sing David’s praises and to talk about his son’s achievements. Steven also encourages other fathers to celebrate their children and play a part in their lives.

Thank you to Steven and all the dads who participate in Special Olympics as supporters, coaches, volunteers, and spectators!
