Special Olympics Pilipinas has reached a new milestone in its nationwide push for inclusive education. The program recently hosted a National Training of Trainers on Unified Sports in Baguio City, that brought together 500 education leaders from the Department of Education (DepEd), representing 18 regions and a combined 45,000 schools across the Philippines.

The tournament culminated on Saturday with Division 1 finals at Charléty Stadium, where Special Olympics Libya captured the men’s title and Special Olympics Guatemala successfully defended its women’s crown.
