As part of a concerted strategy to ensure the movement reaches as many young people as possible, in all demographic settings, Special Olympics has built model including, Unified Schools, Inclusive Youth Leadership, and Whole School Engagement.

As part of a historic initiative to advance inclusive development worldwide for the youth of all abilities, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) has provided the Special Olympics movement with a new grant of $8,500,000 USD to launch a Global Campaign for Inclusion in support of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
