Meet the Heroes is a video storytelling series designed to showcase Special Olympics sports through the powerful, personal stories of athletes with intellectual disabilities. Each film places the athlete at the heart of the narrative, demonstrating the life‑changing impact of sport while increasing awareness and understanding of Special Olympics competitions worldwide. The series promotes participation, improves access to sport information, highlights the global and diverse nature of Special Olympics athletes, and strengthens visibility of partnerships with international and national sport federations.
