Youth leaders Bianca and Federico brought people with and without intellectual disabilities together through Dance Olympics Day, an event that introduced participants to Dance Sport and traditional dances such as the tango and chacarera. Through dance lessons and shared activities, the project promoted healthy habits, inclusion, friendship, and meaningful connections within the community.

The Project
Participants had the opportunity to take dance lessons and learn new styles and movements, including traditional dances such as the tango and chacarera. Through these activities, people with and without intellectual disabilities were able to share a fun and meaningful experience while discovering new skills and interests.
For the youth leaders, the success of the event came from the experience of creating something together. Dance Olympics Day became a celebration of movement, friendship, and the power of shared experiences.
Project Impact
Bianca and Federico were especially proud to share the experience with their friends, siblings, and families. The success of Dance Olympics Day also inspired them to continue expanding opportunities for athletes and young people across Argentina to participate in Dance Sport.

Looking ahead, Bianca and Federico plan to continue promoting healthy habits and using new hobbies and activities as tools for inclusion in their community. Following the success of Dance Olympics Day, they hope to further develop and promote Dance Sport, creating even more opportunities for people to get involved.
