Jerry and Khadija will implement Unified basketball and arts and crafts activities to nurture creativity and skill-building while teaching teamwork and creativity Jerry and Khadija’s project will include workshops and activities that highlight the importance of inclusion in communities throughout Tanzania.

Over six months, Jerry and Khadija will lead a group of 35 young people in Unified basketball program and arts and crafts workshops. These workshops will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to empower individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to interact through the power of sports, art, and friendship. By promoting inclusion through their project, Jerry and Khadija hope to establish new Unified Schools and Unified Sports Clubs in Tanzania. They believe, that through the power of sport and creativity, young people will be inspired to create communities of inclusion across the country.
