Yuchun and Yunyang will plan multiple biweekly activities where Unified pairs will develop a story of their choosing and share it with the group at a celebratory event near the end of the project. Through storytelling workshops, communication between youth with and without intellectual disabilities will be strengthened and new friendships of inclusion will be formed.

Yuchun and Yunyang were inspired by wanting a space for youth with intellectual disabilities to share their opinions and voice. Over the course of nine months, Yuchun and Yunyang hope to engage 140 people and increase advocacy and inclusion through friendships and storytelling. In doing so, Yuchun and Yunyang are empowering the Unified Generation to use their voice and tell their story.
