Jessica will lead a Youth Innovation Project to expand on the mission of Unified Schools in her community. Inspired by her brother, Jessica hopes to engage more sibling pairs and new Youth Leaders to mobilize a new generation of advocates for a more inclusive society in Paraguay.

Over the course of twelve months, Jessica will work closely with her local Unified School to develop a series of workshops aiming to increase sensitivity, integration, and job opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. Jessica will engage 80 youth with and without intellectual disabilities and hopes to establish three new Unified Schools and one new Unified Champion School. Through this project, youth with intellectual disabilities will have an opportunity to share their personal journey and experience with attendees in hopes of increasing current opportunities across Unified Schools, engaging new Youth Leaders, and empowering Sibling pairs to join the Unified Generation.
