Florian is a Special Olympics Youth Leader from Germany and will lead a Youth Innovation Project by hosting a national digital youth conference to unite Special Olympics Youth Leaders with and without intellectual disabilities across Germany in conversations about inclusion.
Florian’s project, The Digital Youth Congress, will connect Youth Leaders from Germany’s Special Olympics programs to discussions and workshops to share ideas on how to improve programming and recruit new young people to join the inclusion revolution. Florian believes his project will provide Special Olympics Youth Leaders with ideas and tools to help them inspire and empower others to join the Unified Generation to spread inclusion across Germany.

Over six months, Floridan will lead a team of Special Olympics Youth Leaders with and without intellectual disabilities to create the Digital Youth Congress and plan organization events. This conference will connect young people from across Germany in conversations about ways to strengthen Special Olympics programming. . Workshops and breakout sessions during the conference will all allow participants to identify ways they can expand their roles as Special Olympics Youth Leaders leading the inclusion revolution. Florian believes his Digital Youth Congress will provide Special Olympics Youth Leaders with tools and ideas to share with their local Special Olympics programs and help recruit new young people to join them as part of the Unified Generation.
