Matthias and Thomas believe introducing Unified floorball into Unified Schools in their community will expand opportunities for youth with and without intellectual disabilities to train and learn together. While creating a path to friendship and understanding, Matthias and Thomas’s project will create more inclusive schools and communities in Austria.

Matthias and Thomas’ project will implement Unified floorball training and competitions and will empower individuals with and without intellectual disabilities the opportunity to create friendships on and off the field. By promoting social inclusion through shared sports and social experiences, Matthias and Thomas hope to recruit new Special Olympics Youth Leaders to join the Unified Generation and create inclusive sport opportunities across Austria.
