Inspired by the unity they witnessed at the 2019 Special Olympics World Games, Hasnain and Ahmed have developed a Youth Innovation Project aiming to grow Unified Sports in Lahore, Pakistan. Hasnain and Ahmed believe that Unified Sports will act as a catalyst for greater inclusion of individuals with disabilities within in schools, universities, and the community at-large.

Over the course of the next year, Hasnain and Ahmed will share their Special Olympics story at awareness seminars, conduct regular Unified Sports trainings, and plan a series of Unified Sports competitions. Hasnain and Ahmed hope the 120 youth with and without disabilities engaged by this project feel inspired to grow Unified Sports themselves and transform their schools into Unified Champion Schools. By providing Youth Leaders with the tools to establish Unified Sports throughout Lahore, Hasnain and Ahmed are empowering the Unified Generation to grow Unified Schools across Pakistan.
