Davide and Miriam are motivated by the lack of knowledge in the general population when it comes to meaningful inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Thus, Davide and Miriam will organize and conduct a national photo contest where youth can submit a photo of them participating in a Unified Sport, along with a caption explaining why it is important to them. They hope this will lead to new volunteers and potential athletes as they spread their message of inclusion throughout Italy.

Over the course of 3 months, Davide and Miriam hope to reach over 2500 social media impressions as they work to collect submissions from around the country and possibly even beyond. Concluding the project, Davide and Miriam will identity the best submissions, recognize them with an award, and repost them while sharing their personalized stories with the positive effects that Unified Sports have on both youth with and without intellectual disabilities. Davide and Miriam are leading by elevating the voices of others in order to spread the message of inclusion and grow the Unified Generation.
