Catalina and Francisco will work together to lead a Youth Innovation Project that encourages the training of new Youth Leaders to create an environment of inclusion for those with and without intellectual disabilities. Francisco’s experience as a student with intellectual disabilities attending a conventional school in Argentina led the Youth Leaders to design a program focused on creating inclusive and Unified spaces for those with and without intellectual disabilities to come together.

Over the course of six months, Catalina and Francisco will add three new Unified Schools to their community, expand the programing at previously established Unified Schools, and create a new Unified Sports Club. Catalina and Francisco will train 25 new Youth Leaders and engage over 100 Special Olympics Unified athletes and partners to help empower the Unified Generation.
