To do this, they will host talks, campaigns, and recreational activities to promote and improve the health and well-being of athletes, especially as a way of mitigating the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Over six months, Andrea and Jairo will visit schools in municipalities of Managua, where they will host seminars about inclusion, lead campaigns about preventing the spread of COVID-19, and host recreational sports and activities. Their goal is to engage 10 new Youth Leaders, as well as increase the number of athletes and unified partners with meaningful roles in their communities. Andrea and Jairo believe in an inclusive society where everyone has the same opportunities and people with intellectual disabilities can be decision-makers and leaders in our communities.
