Chung and Ngo will lead a Youth Innovation Project, Project LINK, to build the connection between society and individuals with intellectual disabilities by holding a workshop, a school visit and Unified activities. In doing so, Chung and Ngo hope to receive more community support for Unified events, encourage teenagers to be a part of the Unified Generation, and create a more inclusive society.

Over the course of the next year, Project LINK will engage around 200 students with and without intellectual disabilities and create one new Unified Champion School. Throughout Project LINK, Chung and Ngo are focusing on “learning by experience,” so they are using challenges and problem solving to teach understanding and spread awareness about intellectual disabilities. A team is stronger than any number of individuals and Chung and Ngo are using their leadership skills to bring young people together and grow the Unified Generation.
