Ni and Weile will lead a Youth Innovation Project to start a Healthy Athletes Program. In this project, the pair will engage local doctors to volunteer to teach youth with and without intellectual disabilities about healthy living. In addition to this, a local university will host Unified Sports tournaments and cultural craft workshops. Ni and Weile strive to create a well-rounded program of events where participants are encouraged to exercise their body, mind, and spirit. In this program, everyone has the opportunity to discover something new.

Over the course of the next year, Ni and Weile will engage over 400 participants with and without intellectual disabilities in their program and hope to engage thousands more by sharing their story online. At the conclusion of their year-long project, Ni and Weile plan to sustain change in their community by inspiring new Youth Leaders to join the Special Olympics movement and growing the Special Olympics Club at their university. By establishing a Healthy Athletes Program and organizing Unified activities that promote holistic health, Ni and Weile are empowering Youth Leaders with the tools they need live balanced lives while they are changing the world.
