They will organize interactive inclusive programs that engage participants in a variety of sports, art, and cooking activities to increase the number of Special Olympics Youth Leaders in Morocco. Omar and Manal hope that by implementing events that demonstrate the joy and benefits that inclusion provides, they will create a culture of inclusion within their communities to grow the number of Youth Leaders across the country.

Over six months, Omar and Manal will direct programs that feature a different activity or sport each month to illustrate the diversity within Special Olympics programming. They believe showcasing the different opportunities will help with recruitment of new Youth Leaders to participate in activities that promote positivity and inclusion. Omar and Manal hope to engage 60 Youth Leaders with and without intellectual disabilities in their monthly programs. They hope an additional 60 participants will join them as Youth Leaders in the Special Olympics community to help empower and inspire the Unified Generation to spread the word about inclusion.
