Daisy plans to lead multiple workshops training new Youth Leaders with and without intellectual disabilities on how to host talks, coordinate events, and break barriers present in the community. Daisy’s project will set up Unified pairs as a support system and as inspiration for others to step up and lead.

Over the course of six months, Daisy hopes to train 20 new Youth Leaders and set them up to continue their advocacy projects after the workshops are done. Daisy was empowered by Ben Haack, Special Olympics athlete and board member, who inspired others to learn leadership from people with intellectual disabilities.. Through this project, Daisy is energizing new Youth Leaders to join the Unified Generation.
